Here we are offering a first edition, and we believe 2nd printing, hardcover with original dust jacket, Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" book. Published in 1952 by Charles Scribner's Son, New York, New York, This is an unrecorded variant issue of this first edition without a date on the title page and the copyright leaf with the author's name mispelled, "HEMINWAY," and the Scribner's seal present, not the "A." Original $3.00 price tag too. Pages are crisp and clean, some aging on the dust jacket and tiny chips and some discoloration probably from moisture exposure to the jacket and front board. Not really bad, see photos. The dust jacket is in mylar.
