Here we are offering the lowest printing, January, 1954 #v1 #2 issue of Playboy Magazine, RED STAR Edition, by Hugh Hefner, with a CGC Universal Grade of 5.5. This CGC grade is "fine minus" condition. Notice the tiny RED STAR in Playboy title which makes this edition extremely rare. To begin with, this issue, the 2nd issue following the first issue featuring Marilyn Monroe, was the lowest printed of all Playboy magazines. The Red Star version is a small portion of that lowest printing. Nicely encapsulated in plastic.
