Here we are offering a very cool, one of a kind, Jimi Hendrix collectible / piece
of memorabilia, an owned and worn Dashiki shirt from the 1960's! Its an off
white cotton and embroided accent colored shirt. Jimi Hendrix had this with
him when one night, somewhere in a nightclub in England, he stopped into a
nightclub that was being managed by Mickey Deans. Mickey Deans is best
known for being the 5th and last husband of movie legend Judy Garland.
Jimi either went to or performed at this club somewhere in London that Mickey
was running at the time. Jimi saw all the memorabilia hanging on the walls
that belonged to other famous musicians, movie stars, etc. and wanted to
donate some of his personal belongings as well to be put on display with
these other items of movie stars and well know musicians. We are also
including a notorized letter which has been signed in ink from Mickey Deans
and he states the facts about the Jimi Hendrix shirt being given to him with
some other items by Jimi himself for display in the club.
