Here we are offering a very rare and highly collectible, Crazy Climber Board game manufactured in 1981 by Bandai, over 40 years ago. Game is based on the arcade hit. We have included an English translation of the instructions as well as copies of the playing card translations. Game is complete with Japanese instructions as well as other Japanese paperwork as shown in our photos. The gameplay is as follows: Players have movement cards which they play to move from window to window in this large 3D building. When certain floors are crossed, the moving player must spin for an event including: objects may fall, causing those other crazy climbers in those colums to drop down a window, the giant ape may move, knocking off crazy climbers has passes near, or they may have to drawer a card. Event cards have various effects, mostly bad ones, and also may cause the helicopter to move left or right. The first crazy climber to reach the helicopter on the top of the building is the winner. The game is in overall very good cosmetic condition, with minor aging from gameplay for its age, including the box, which has fantastic graphics. As mentioned, we are including an English translation which is good enough to play the game. The spinner has text on it but the rules are sufficient to use it. The event cards have Japanese text and for these we are including slips of paper with these cards translated into English. Overall, a very rare find and must have for the Crazy Climber collector.
